Are Your Clothes Taking Longer and Longer to Dry?

I was ready to start shopping for a new clothes dryer because it was getting to the point that it would take almost 2 hours to do a load of jeans. It seemed like is used to be 45 minutes.
The dryer wouldn’t be as hot after about an hour. So I thought the heating coils must be wearing out or something.
Not too long ago I could put a load of clothes in the dryer and crank of my wii active life video program. Enjoy a nice 45 minute workout and then be ready to get the clothes out of the dryer.
Well needless to say my video workout would be over and the clothes wouldn’t be dry at all. As I got ready to price dryers a friend suggested cleaning the dryer vent hose and getting dryer booster fan installed.
He was pointing out that my vent hose to the outside was longer than 25 feet and since it has been working for 3 years that he was sure that could be the problem.
So this is something to think about if you’re having dryer problems, it may not be the actual dryer at all, it may be that you need a dryer booster fan motor installed.
Dryer vent motors also cut down on the possibility of a lint fire and save energy.
