If you are looking for something really different to celebrate that special event, a party boat may be the answer. Imagine cruising along the river banks, looking at the beautiful scenery and enjoying the company of friends and family. Food, drinks and dancing are plentiful, while a staff of professionals takes care of the details. Does this sound interesting? Then maybe you should consider having your next event aboard a party boat.
Food and Drinks
When you talk to the party boat company about their package deals, you should find out what they offer in terms of food and drinks. Is this a daytime or evening affair? During the day, boat parties are less expensive since your guests will be less likely to drink a lot of alcoholic beverages. If you are hosting a dinner party, the number of guests is important since you may be charged per person. Other companies may have a deal on a specific number of guests.
Alcoholic drinks may be your biggest expense in this whole event if you are not careful. There are a few ways you can go about it. The most expensive is an open bar. Your next choice is to limit the type of drinks to beer and wine. If you are really tight on funds, a cash bar is your last option.
The Dance Floor
If you are planning on shaking the place up with some dancing, there are a couple things to consider. First, check out the dance floor facilities. Will there be enough room for everyone who wants to dance? Is there enough headroom for your taller friends? You also need to think about what you are planning to do about the music. Will you hire a DJ or a band? Does the party boat company offer these services (for extra cost)? These are things you need to consider, especially if you have a budget.

Comparatively speaking, businesses haven’t been using GPS devices for very long. Because of this providers are constantly coming up with new features and creative pricing models to attract new customers. Some GPS providers offer advanced GPS devices with tons of applications for a cheap price but attach a lengthy contract to them.
Before investing in GPS devices businesses need to think about what they need in their GPS devices and whether or not to enter into a contract.
Many companies are considering GPS units because they want to stop unauthorized driving, accurately log mileage, spot inefficient routes, track their drivers in real-time, and let their drivers know they are being monitored. Most basic GPS devices offer these options and can cost less than $150. Having a bunch of other options can be nice but are not necessary and can end up being a distraction.
While entering into a contract can seem nice at first it often leads to disappointment. Because technology is rapidly improving it makes sense that soon after you enter into a contract a better GPS model will come out but you will be stuck with the ones you purchased. Also, if you need to scale back your operation you will be forced to keep the GPS devices you have even though you have more GPS devices than drivers. GPS units are good for reducing costs but you want to be sure that you are not stuck with a plan that suits you one month but not the next.
GPS units can be a sound investment when you get one that fits your needs, so be sure to do your research and pick one that most closely matches what you are looking for.

Many people are feeling a strain on their wallet because of gas prices. They can spend more than $200 dollars at the gas pump and will have to refill their car within the next week. A way people are relieving this stress is by getting scooters. They get up to 100 miles per gallon and only cost around $1000 to buy. They can pay for themselves within a few years. Because they use so little gas they are also helping the environment.
Cars put a large number of pollutants into the air, including carbon dioxide, hydrocarbons, and nitrogen oxide. These chemicals make the cities smoggy and cause acid rain. Using a car to get from place to place around town can be wasteful and is often unnecessary; riding a scooter helps reduce this waste and allows you to enjoy the air and the ride to the grocery store or wherever you might be going. While scooters may be small, they come with detachable compartments that allow you to put as many groceries, books, etc. into them as you like.
Because they are so good on the environment and your wallet it is understandable that many college students are using them. The extra money they are saving on gas allows them to buy new supplies and buy food other than ramen noodles and instant meals.

Protecting our environment is an important thing to do as we look at how our decisions have negatively impacted the environment and wildlife. Many people have begun to look for ways to reduce their carbon footprint and to be more conscious of how they are using energy. People are buying more efficient appliances, carpooling to work, and buying more efficient vehicles.
Vehicles emit hydrocarbons, and that causes an increase in greenhouse gasses and acid rain. Many cars get around 8 miles per gallon which has a huge impact on the quality of the air. One way people are trying to reduce that is by investing in scooters which can get up to 100 miles per gallon. Driving an SUV a couple blocks to the grocery store is wasteful and unnecessary. A scooter uses much less gas to get to your destination, and it has compartments to put your groceries in.
While scooters help improve the quality of the air they also give you an opportunity to enjoy it. Scooters are compact which means they are excellent for driving around in the city and suburbs. They make it much easier to find a place to park and cost less money than a car to keep running. Recently many students have become reliant on scooters because of their affordability and ease of use. Because of their growing popularity it is very easy to find a reliable manufacturer and to do research on what kind of scooter suits your needs.

If you love working on your car or truck, perhaps you should think about a career as a mechanic.
A trained mechanic can work steady hours, make a good income and find employment in any location he chooses. Diesel mechanics in particular are in high demand right now. You can pursue diesel truck mechanic training at some automotive specialty schools and some state vocational technical schools.
If you are interested in a career as a mechanic, but the big diesel trucks aren’t your passion, you can also specialize in car, motorcycle, boat or airplane maintenance and repair.
If this sounds interesting, be sure to check to see if there is a good diesel truck mechanic school near you.

GPS technology has been a huge part of many companies since it came out. Businesses rely on it to keep track of their trucks and drivers. FoxTrax GPS’s can keep track of where your employee is, where they have been, the miles they have driven, and can even map out the most efficient route to your destination. It helps your business reduce the amount of wasted time and fuel by getting your employees there faster. You can see how many miles your employee has driven, what their maximum speed was, and what their mileage cost was.
Another great thing about FoxTrax GPS is that it sends the information to you quickly. The information is normally less than 20 seconds old so you always know where all your employees and vehicles are. You can also send text messages to your employees directly from the site. Your information is also stored for over year so you can track how much your business has improved.
If you need someone to be at a certain location fast, you can check and see who is closest to that location, this way you don’t waste time guessing. The number of vehicles you can have registered with FoxTrax is unlimited, so it’s great if you want to track just one device, or if you want to track hundreds. And most of FoxTrax devices install in less than five minutes.

Michelin has announced the new Power One race tire for motorcycles.
Let’s get acquainted with the new Power One as it utilizes a host of new technologies, we’ll start with here with “2CT” tech, the Power One employs what Michelin calls MRSE (Michelin Racing Synthetic Elastomers) compounds combined with HTSC (High Tech Synthetic Compound) resins. The idea is that Michelin’s particular mixture of compounds is aimed at providing fast warm-up times while offering great grip characteristics.
Another technology is the new NST (Near Slick Technology). The minimal tread patters covers only 5% of the tire’s surface, which really means that the tire is 95% slick, which maximizes the rubber patch ensuring outstanding contact with the road. Michelin claims the resulting traction helps facilitate lean angles approaching 60 degrees, which is incredible since these lean angles were not obtainable for the general riding public a few years ago.
However, these tires were designed as track day race tires and for road racing. They are not optimal for everyday street use because they need to generate sufficient heat to accomplish maximum grip. In addition, they are not going to be ideal for wet riding conditions as the 95% slick pattern will only make wet weather riding a true white knuckle experience. Also, the will not last in terms of mileage; these tires are meant for winning races or making fast laps around a closed racing circuit (track day).
So, to sum it all up, the new Power One incorporates a new dual-compound technology in one tire. The hardest compound of rubber hardness/grip is found in the center. The softer compound is on each side of the tire where you need it the most for traction at extreme lean angles. These new Power One tires change the game when it comes to performance. Check the out at www.komodogear.com for a wide selection and great prices – with free shipping!

Obesity in schools is one big question that needs immediate readressal. The obesity in schools that we see all around can frequently be put down to several behaviour patterns that folks tell themselves are truly not their fault. Cash is tight, and so folks have to work boring hours away from their kids. Being away so long mothers and fathers don’t have the resources to make arrangements for a high quality food, and therefore unmanaged kids pick junk food. The use of large gas guzzling cars in the United States has caused an increasingly negative effect on the environment and a dependence of foreign oil. As of 2007 the United States was the top consumer of oil, using 20,680,000 barrels of oil per day. That was more than twice the amount that the number two consumer. One thing that other countries have done to keep that number low was to use public transportation, carpools, and more efficient modes of transportation. While not all of these options are available to the population, one way people can reduce their carbon footprint is to use rides like motorized scooters to get around town.
Scooters can get up to 100 miles per gallon as opposed to an SUV’s 8 miles per gallon. This is a major difference in fuel usage which will help lower dependence on foreign fuel, and it will also help the environment. They emit less than one tenth of the toxic emissions that cars do and are a good way to enjoy the air when you are running errands.
Because they use so much gas they are an excellent way for people to save money. They are inexpensive and can pay for themselves within a couple months. Another good thing is that, if properly taken care of, they can last just as long as a car so you won’t have to replace them all the time. Many scooter dealers offer a yearlong warranty so if something is wrong with the scoter you will have enough time to have it replaced. There are a number of scooter designs which allows everyone to pick a scooter that meets their needs and style.

Safety glasses used to be awkward and not very comfortable not as time progressed they adapted to consumers wants and needs. Safety glasses now come in a variety of colors and styles. They also come as bifocals and prescription glasses which means that people don’t have to deal with fuzzy vision when wearing their safety glasses.
Safety glasses are used for everything from use at the shooting range in in chemistry labs. When people buy safety glasses they don’t always know what they need which can lead to overspending. If you have prescription glasses then you should invest in prescription safety glasses because it cuts down on the hassle of having to put in contacts just to wear safety glasses or wearing both glasses at once. It is also important to know whether or now you will need goggles or plain glasses. Goggles are recommended for people who are handling liquids that might splash but they also cost a little more so if you don’t need them then save some money and stick with the glasses.
It sometimes seems easier to do stuff without safety glasses but I the long run investing in a pair is the best course of action because you never know when an accident might happen. Also, when buying a pair of safety glasses, don’t just buy the first

Ever since GPS technology has come out it has been an integral part of the way companies function. Businesses rely on GPS fleet tracking to make sure their drivers are where they are supposed to be, to make sure they are on time, and to keep track of the miles driven. It allows business owners to cut down on wasted fuel, and because it connects to the computer it allows you to see what driver is closest to a destination. GPS technology also allows you to determine the most efficient routes to the deliveries.
Another benefit is that because they are connected to the computer wirelessly you don’t need to constantly take them out to get the information, and the information is stored for up to a year. As GPS technology gets more advanced it is becoming more user friendly and easier to install. However, having so many options can be confusing. Many new GPS devices have features that people don’t necessarily need, which means that even though the GPS device is saving them money in some ways the added features are using up the money they saved by purchasing the device.
When buying GPS devices a big question is whether or not to purchase a contract or to pay monthly. Contracts allow you to have the same service for two years but they can be inflexible so if your business has a budget change then the contract can be detrimental for the growth of the company. Companies such as FoxTrax GPS do not require contracts which allows a person to increase the number of GPS devices or reduce them based on their needs, and they don’t have to pay a fee for the changes.
The best thing to do before investing in GPS devices is to do research and figure out what needs you have and whether or not the products you are looking at will have an impact on how efficiently you run your business.

Trouble With Internet Affiliate Marketing
I have owned several offline businesses over the years including everything from running a remodeling company to a Heavy Equipment Sales And Rental Company. When I went on line and read about Internet Affiliate Marketing I thought I could have an easier time making money online because it eliminated the need for employees and I could apply the business knowledge I had already gathered to the internet situation. Boy was I completely wrong! First things are entirely differently online, you usually have no contact with the prospective customer, all that stands between you and a sale is the quality of your Internet Affiliate Marketing web site page content and the product you are representing. Personally, I am much better at selling in a face to face environment. One thing I have started doing with my sites now is to include a video of me with a brief intro to the product or service that I am selling. This way people can see that there is a real person behind the Internet Affiliate Marketing site.

There are many reasons why people choose to buy from used car auctions and the reason that tops the list is price. Used cars are auctioned off in different ways: online, public, wholesale, insurance & salvage and police & government auctions. Among these, wholesale and insurance & salvage are more often open to dealers only.
Online car auctions like those on Yahoo and Ebay are very convenient and you can shop for the car you like without leaving the house. Remember, though that you are buying a car you have never laid eyes on and have never physically checked. This should not deter you, however. There are a lot of sellers online who are legitimate and if you are patient enough, you could just get a great buy.

Most people think that getting car insurance is just a standard affair involving informing the insurance company of your age and what vehicle you drive, and then signing on the dotted line. The truth is that there are many things affecting that premium, and some which are actually under your control!
A lot of people are not aware of the fact that the actual car they drive can affect the cost of their premium. Some cars are higher theft risks, and others are more notorious for being involved in collisions. Cars which have passed certified safety tests and are approved by the insurance companies as being safer vehicles to drive will normally be awarded a lower premium…

Finding suitable insurance for such vehicles can be a long and expensive process. Because of their power and the cost of parts needed to fix them, most owners find themselves paying a considerable amount just to have them insured.
Insurers will take aspects such as engine size, acceleration and top speed into consideration when working out policies for performance car insurance. It can be worth doing a little research of your own with regards to safety and the availability of parts should any repairs need to be carried out.
Because of the stigma associated with high performance vehicles and their involvement in accidents, owners can find themselves paying higher car insurance premiums…

A recent study found that one in three consumers is paying over the odds for scooter insurance, the AA reported earlier this year. Nearly half of Brits do not seek a number of quotes, and one in four renew their scooter cover without taking the opportunity to shop around and possibly save hundreds of pounds.
Given that new regulations have increased the pressure on insurers to raise premiums, it might be worth taking one of our 10 steps towards lower premiums.
Protect your no-claims bonus. This may increase the premium by a few pounds, but this fades into insignificance against the potential loss of a 60% discount on a premium of several hundred pounds. But the definition of a protected no-claims bonus can vary widely between insurers. Though accidents caused by another rider will normally have no impact on such a bonus, those caused by the insured could.

The Blackfire Clamplight is the bright LED flashlight that you want to buy for your family emergency flashlight. My power went out at home last weekend and I had to scramble to find some candles. That didn’t work very well because I didn’t have any matches.
I wanted a super bright flashlight but I didn’t have one. Until I found the Clamplight online, which is a great LED work clamp light. However it is even better as an emergency light because it has a stand that allows you to have an LED spot light shooting out in any direction, including straight up. It allowed me to illuminate my entire family room which will be great the next time our power goes out.
Go buy one for your family today.

This type of dump truck tarp has an aluminum-extruded header, which provides greater strength and less deflection. The dump truck tarp for utility dump bodies also comes equipped with auxiliary cable pulleys, which keeps the cables closer together, applies constant pressure and reduces continuous adjustments. The multi-position chain drive crank assembly on the dump truck tarp eliminates the need to lock the handle in the same position every time. Spring loaded swivel idlers are installed on the dump truck tarp to ensure constant pressure on the cables. A new manual crank dump truck tarp is now being offered for utility dump bodies. The dump truck tarp header design allows for full protection of bearings from the elements, which ultimately reduces replacement costs.
Using a dump truck tarp crank system is an effortless, secure way to tarp a dump in seconds. No more climbing up on the truck and no more hassles with ropes and tie downs – in essence, with crank dump truck tarps you will have no more problems. A great option to consider when looking for a dump truck tarp is a manual, crank system. Crank dump truck tarps are made with an aluminum front assembly, a self-connecting adjustment and an automatic tensioning cable. This type of dump truck tarp offers safety, security, dependability and productivity.
If you have past experience with a dump truck tarp, you’ll quickly find that new models are innovative, user-friendly and incredibly durable. Also, a manual crank dump truck tarp is also very easy to install, maintain, and operate. Often, today’s leading brands offer a dump truck tarp with a one-year warranty on all parts. Recently new models of crank dump truck tarps have been introduced to the market and offer great new features. These dump truck tarp features include an attractive, aluminum, lightweight front assembly, adjustable rear idlers, and a new anti-lift device that works together to keep the dump truck tarp secure and operational. The new crank dump truck is better than ever before.

Dump truck tarps are also designed for easy installation because pre-assembled parts make for fast and easy installation. When dump truck tarps are completely operated from the ground, this greatly reduces the chance of injuries. These manual side roll dump truck tarps make it possible to cover your load without climbing all over your trailer to do it. Manual side-roll dump truck tarps give you the security and durability you need and simple operation from the ground to make your job quicker and easier. Manual side roll dump truck tarps are systems for dump boxes and semi-dump trailers.
More features and benefits of manual roll dump truck tarps include a wide range of models that are designed to fit almost any dump trailer. Dump truck tarps are incredibly durable and strong, most with aerodynamic aluminum end caps. Dump truck tarps have rustproof aluminum cranks for quick, easy operations. Two-inch ratchets swivel on special mounting brackets and allow adjustment for heaped loads to remain secure on dump truck tarps. Special 18-22 and 26 oz. vinyl-coated polyester dump truck tarp fabric offers greater tear strength, prevents stretching or shrinking. Rugged-yet-lightweight exterior or interior aluminum roll pipes on dump truck tarps allow tie down cables to align easily with trailer posts.
Standard 10’ rise bows are available standard in a heavy-duty steel construction w/ one end adjustable for easy removal. Dump truck tarps are equipped to make clear loading as easy as possible. Many dump truck tarps are specially designed with a bow for heaped loads. The dump truck tarps system’s bow was created especially to move up and over heaped loads. Its unique, double-action springs allow the bow to seal against the front and rear of the trailer. When fully open, 45-foot dump truck tarps occupy only about 24 inches at the front of the trailer, giving you nearly the entire length of the trailer for loading.
Optional reinforcing is often offered to cover bows. There are no awkward posts to remove or cumbersome ratchet straps to undo. The rear bow sits at the very end of the bed allowing for maximum bed space and can always be adjusted to that same point without compromising the dump truck tarps tightness, regardless of load or trailer arch. Tight stretched dump truck tarps are proven to last the longest. Quality dump truck tarps allow the operator to continuously keep tarps tight over the years.

First for the extravagant and the impractical part. This 2010 Audi race car runs a 5.2-liter V-10; when the engine’s 8700 rpm shrieks and growls, understandably, any environmental responsibility should evaporate from your horizon, or any fiscal responsibility, for that matter – the sticker reads $150,000. With the responsibility out of the way, let’s look at what the German part of the equation brings in.

The rising price of fuel has become a daily problem we all face. Driving is such a vital part of our lives that we are forced to pay these high prices, no matter what. I thus it is imperative that we understand how to improve our gas mileage, just to manage our budgets.
There are ways to improve gas mileage, but we have to be careful that we don’t fall victim to the many hoaxes that become prevalent in a situation like this. We want to cut our gas expenses, so it’s easy to believe almost anything that claims to do that.
Some say that if we add hydrogen to our gas it would definitely improve our mileage by accelerating the combustion process and providing more power. There are several products that claim to do this, but I really doubt if they do any good. Some claim that this will increase your mileage by up to 30%, but if this was indeed possible you would already know about it because no one could keep that secret.
